What to do in your Singapore layover? Where to stay? And where to eat? What to do? Here are some places you can visit which we categorized according to locations:
First, where to rest right between flights?
First, Changi Airport is the best airport for layovers, according to reviews. Browsing thru their website, we learned we can avail of free-to-use sleeping areas, TV lounges, baby care rooms, and so much more facilities. If you want, you can also avail of their transit hotel. For us, we opted to stay at a local hotel, Hotel 81 Elegance that is situated near Lavender MRT.
Where to eat cheap but good food?
Hawkers are blessings in disguise in an expensive city such as Singapore. They are everywhere, serve delicious food, and of course cheap. You can, for example, eat chicken/ pork rice for at least S$3!
What places to visit in Singapore during layover?
Changi Airport
Before exploring the city itself, you might wanna explore the airport first. After all, it’s the best airport in the world and it has a lot of attractions too. For example, in Terminal 2, there are many attractions such as:

Changi Airport also offers two free tours for layover passengers: City tour and Heritage tour. Each tour has its own schedule so make sure you include them on your itinerary.

Merlion
Of course, the major face of Singapore- the Merlion! Located in the heart of the city’s CBD, visiting the lion means you can also go to other attractions conveniently. It’s near to Marina Bay Sands, Esplanade, and Gardens by the Bay, which are another major attractions in Singapore.
